As a Night Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the overnight hours, including delivering outstanding customer service, handling guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process while responding to guests via phone, emails, and social media.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including the issuance of room keys, payment processing, and providing necessary information.
- Monitor security cameras, conduct regular property patrols, and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, hotel facilities, and local attractions (including the Bodmin Jail Attraction).
- Monitor room availability and manage room inventory to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete nightly reports and balance the day's financial transactions.
- Assist with administrative duties, including filing and data entry.
