You should have a flare for the drama and the historical significance of Bodmin Jail, be a great communicator and story teller, you'll be great at capturing peoples attention and using theatrics to bring it to life.

The Role

As a Tour Guard, you will create an immersive and thrilling entertainment experience for our guests.

You'll embody the persona of a Guard or another prison officer role, to create an unforgettable atmosphere for our guests in various themed environments.

You'll also lead on tours for the paranormal and historical significance of Bodmin Jail.

Responsibilities include

  • Guide groups of guests through the Hotel History Tour & Ghost Walks
  • Engage with guests during dinner service, embodying your persona
  • Engage with guests in a lively and interactive manner while maintaining a safe and respectful environment
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively

Follow guests and free roam guest facing areas while you embody the personas provided and stay in character

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • GCSE English or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
