To reach our ambitions and truly earn our place in the hearts of our neighbours, we’re looking for a Supervisor who is ready to bridge the gap between being a brilliant server and becoming a great manager. This is a "stepping stone" role. You’ll still be the star of the show on the floor, but you’ll also start taking on management responsibilities and learning the "why" behind the "how."
What success looks like here:
- Leading by Example: You are the benchmark for "WOW" service. You lead your section flawlessly while keeping an eye on the bigger picture to support the wider team.
- Growing Responsibility: You’ll start to learn the ropes of management—from opening and closing the building to supporting with rotas and stock—all with a safety net of support from your GMs.
- Human-Centric Coaching: You’re the first point of call for our servers. You’ll help train them on the basics, speaking to them on a human level and helping them find their own confidence.
- Resourceful Learning: You’re curious about how the business succeeds. You’ll help drive financial success on your shifts and play a key role in our environmental and community projects.
- Mindful Leadership: You understand that a happy team is a successful team. You take responsibility for your own balance and help maintain a healthy, supportive energy on the floor.
- Wholeheartedly Positive: You’re a culture champion. You make the workplace fun and fulfilling, celebrating the team’s wins and helping everyone stay motivated.
Why you’ll love it here:
- Fair Pay & Transparent Tips: Competitive hourly rate plus an equal share of all tips, distributed through TIPJAR weekly.
- Flexible Rotas: We value your balance and will work with you to ensure your shifts suit your lifestyle.
- The Next Level: We offer clear career pathways and the opportunity to undertake formal apprenticeships to gain recognized management qualifications while you work.
- Real Food & Local Perks: Fresh meals made from our local produce and friends and family discounts across our 5 venues.
- Your Well-being First: Access to the Hospitality Rewards App, providing a private GP, Mental Health support (EAP), and shopping discounts.
- A Place to Belong: Free parking, epic staff parties, and a team of "really quite lovely" people who genuinely care.
If you are an experienced server with a natural knack for leadership and a hunger to learn the management side of hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
