We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dynamic chef who is passionate about cooking and constantly driving high standards. You must be able to work as part of a team and individually. The individual must have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience, as well as working in a high performing and fast paced kitchen.

Salary will be negotiable on experience. Shift patterns will include split shifts and a variety of weekday and weekend shifts, as well as working in public and school holidays.

Role Responsibility:
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Up to date knowledge of recipes and cooking techniques
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Maintain and take pride in a high standard and clean working kitchen
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of the kitchen and equipment
  • Record daily kitchen paperwork
  • Monitor food stock
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ensuring the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure safe food preparation
  • Ability to remain calm, have a mature approach, manage multiple tasks efficiently and cook from scratch in a fast paced environment
  • High levels of personal motivation
  • Well-presented, articulate and enthusiastic

Level 2 in Food & Hygiene certificate is required. At least 1 year prior experience is essential. Excellent time management abilities are necessary. Immediate start when we are allowed to open.
