The Boathouse, Glencaple is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.
Were not your typical restaurant. Our menu brings together brunch, fresh seafood and quirky, creative dishes, and were looking for someone who enjoys good food, takes pride in what they produce and likes working in a kitchen with a bit of personality.
The role
Youll be an important part of our kitchen team, helping to deliver consistently high-quality food and a great experience for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
- Working as part of the kitchen team during busy services
- Contributing ideas and creativity to our menu
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
- Ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen service
- Helping with preparation and day-to-day kitchen duties
- Taking responsibility for your section and supporting the wider kitchen team
