The Boathouse London is a unique hospitality and events business operating luxury floating venues across Central London, including private event spaces, a hotel boat in Paddington and a cocktail venue in Canary Wharf.
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Senior Events & Venue Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the business across events, hospitality operations and guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering exceptional service standards.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of private events, managing venue standards, coordinating staff, handling guest communication and ensuring the smooth running of the business across multiple sites. This role combines:

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple London venues
- Manage the successful delivery of private events and bookings
- Coordinate staffing, rotas and operational logistics
- Lead and motivate front-of-house teams
- Maintain exceptional guest experience standards
- Handle client communication and event coordination
- Monitor venue presentation and operational standards
- Manage suppliers, stock and operational systems
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
- Support business growth and operational improvements
