What you’ll be doing as Kitchen Porter?
Our kitchen porters are integral in supporting the kitchen brigade with catering and cleaning duties and the basic preparation of food. Reliable and friendly with a positive can‑do attitude, you will jump in to help out to ensure service is never compromised, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working to high standards. Previous experience as a catering assistant or kitchen assistant is acceptable – full training will be provided for anyone new to the job.
Your Pub
Parkgate is a bit of an oddity, it is a seaside village with no sea as the estuary has withdrawn over the last century, leaving a huge variety of marshland. The Boathouse looks straight over the magnificent Dee Estuary and boasts fantastic fresh food dining and drinks – in particular fish and shellfish being their speciality.
