Employment Term: Full Time Temporary Position: Marketing Assistant (Website Development & Digital Content) Maternity Cover
Hours: The post is offered as a full-time, all-year round role to cover maternity leave. There is some flexibility around hours for the right candidate and there is the possibility of working reduced hours during the school holiday period.
We are currently looking for an ambitious and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing department on a maternity cover basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the work to create a new website for Badminton School
- Liaise with department Heads and stakeholders, create new pages and edit existing webpages
- Maintain the existing website during the development and transition to the new one
- Lead the enthusiastic pupil’s Marketing Team (who meet weekly) to support the creation of topical and interesting video content to use in marketing the school
- Manage the school’s social media accounts, particularly Facebook and Instagram
- Produce a detailed annual content calendar, ensuring coverage of all aspects of school life, and wider internationally recognised annual celebrations/festivals
- Assist with graphic design work and the creation of visual assets to support the marketing strategy, and wider business support
- Undertake any other activity in support to colleagues within the External Relations Department as required (this will require some evening and weekend work)
Qualifications
- Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing
- The ability to write effectively for different audiences and platforms
- The ability to organise own workload, to prioritise tasks and keep to tight deadlines
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ideally you will also have experience of maintaining a website and creating webpage content, experience of email marketing software and experience of working within the education sector
