We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Jazz Cafe. Jazz Cafe is a world-famous, award-winning live music venue in Camden. For over 30 years it has hosted rising stars and global talent across hip hop, soul, jazz, world and electronic music. The restaurant sits on a stunning mezzanine overlooking the stage, creating one of the most unique dining experiences in London, where guests enjoy great food and drinks while watching live music just metres away. It’s a fast‑paced, music‑fuelled environment with a lot going on.
We’re looking for a confident and organised Assistant Restaurant Manager who can support the Restaurant Manager in running the dining room while helping lead the team and maintain high service standards during busy shows.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the dining room.
- Leading service during busy shows and ensuring guests receive a smooth, well‑paced experience.
- Supporting and developing the front‑of‑house team on the floor.
- Managing reservations, table flow and section organisation during service.
- Helping maintain strong service standards and attention to detail.
- Working closely with the bar, kitchen and venue teams to keep service running smoothly.
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy restaurant.
