We’re looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at The Blues Kitchen London. The award-winning Blues Kitchen is one of London’s most iconic venues. Known for its Southern-inspired interiors, legendary live music programme and vibrant dining room, it’s a place where great food, strong drinks and incredible performances come together every night of the week. Serving up all-American comfort food classics alongside expertly crafted cocktails, The Blues Kitchen has built a reputation as one of the city’s most loved places to eat, drink and experience live music.

Behind the scenes, the kitchen runs at a fast pace to deliver food to a busy dining room alongside a full programme of live music. We’re looking for someone hardworking, reliable and positive who can support the kitchen team and help keep the operation running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment throughout service.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and safe at all times.
  • Supporting chefs with basic prep and kitchen tasks when needed.
  • Managing waste, recycling and stock deliveries.
  • Helping maintain high hygiene standards across the kitchen.

What to Expect

  • Competitive pay: £12.71 per hour plus tronc (total package usually between £12.71 to £13.21 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
