We are looking for a Bar Supervisor to join the team at The Blues Kitchen. You will be a key part of running a busy bar operation, supporting the management team, and leading by example on shift. With energy, passion, and a genuine love for hospitality, you will help keep standards sky-high while making sure every guest has an unforgettable time. You will thrive in late-night settings, enjoy being on the floor with the team, and bring positivity and focus to every shift.
What you will be doing:
- Running shifts: support the managers in overseeing bar service and making sure things run smoothly day and night.
- Leading the team: motivate and guide the bar staff, setting the pace on shift and ensuring great service.
- Training & support: help train new starters and share knowledge with the team to keep everyone developing.
- Stock & cash: carry out stock checks, cash-ups, and make sure everything balances at the end of the night.
- Standards & upkeep: keep the bar looking sharp and running efficiently at all times.
- Guest experience: create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere and ensure guests leave with a smile.
What we are looking for:
- Solid management experience in a fast-paced bar environment.
- Familiarity with Fourth is a plus, but not essential.
- A basic grasp of Microsoft 360 and SharePoint.
- Strong experience managing a fast-paced bar.
- A hands-on, team-first leadership style.
- Passion for great service and late-night culture.
- A focus on training, development, and high standards.
