The predicted salary is between 10 - 12 £ per hour.

Blue Cross has numerous rehoming facilities across the country, helping thousands of pets a year find new homes. The rehoming centres require a wide range of roles and skills to ensure their smooth day‑to‑day running. We’re looking for someone to support us in a front‑of‑house role helping with meeting and greeting, administration and waiting‑room management. Your support helps to ensure visitors have a positive customer experience during what can often be a difficult time and also helps celebrate the rehoming of pets.

What you will be doing

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the centre
  • Helping answer enquiries in person
  • Scanning and printing relevant documents
  • Booking appointments
  • Dealing with post and deliveries
  • Helping clients wait safely with pets in reception areas
  • Signposting clients to head office or horse unit
  • Maintaining a tidy reception and waiting room area

The skills you need

  • An approachable personality and excellent customer care skills
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to work in a team or alone
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Reliability
  • Willingness to learn and follow Blue Cross procedures
