We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer photographer to assist with promoting pets available for adoption or capturing moments at Blue Cross events.

Why we want you: You will have the chance to apply your skills, gain practical experience, and assist our busy teams in capturing the essential photos needed to help more pets in need.
What you will be doing:
- For an animal role, you will be taking photographs and/or videos of our pets.
- You will ensure the photographs capture pets exhibiting natural behaviour to promote the pets as well as possible to potential new homes.
- For a role at one of our Blue Cross events, you will be photographing people attending or participating.
- Uploading photographs/videos to send to the team.
The skills you need:
- Experience and use of a digital camera.
- Computer literate to download and manipulate your photos to enable team members to access it quickly.
- Experience of and ability to use some digital editing software.
- Empathy with the aims of Blue Cross and a desire to help animals.
- For an animal photography role, an interest in animal photography and a good understanding of animal body language or willingness to be trained.
- Willingness to learn and follow Blue Cross procedures.
