Available from 13/09/2026. Every year hundreds of amazing people take on our Challenge Events raising vital funds to help pets in need. You don’t have to be a marathon runner to make a difference – our Community and Events team needs enthusiastic volunteers to join our cheer points at events such as the London Marathon and the Oxford Half. You’ll be an important part of our support team, encouraging our fundraisers at key mass participation events throughout the year.

What you will be doing
- Attending mass participation events such as the London Marathon and Oxford Half
- Setting up and taking down flags and banners (all items will be provided)
- Cheering and encouraging Blue Cross participants as they take part in their challenge
- Creating an amazing atmosphere
- Acting as an ambassador for Blue Cross at all times during the event
