The Blue Coat School joined the South Farnham Educational Trust and is the second secondary school alongside Brighton Hill School. As such, we are in a great position to be at the forefront of educational developments to provide the best possible school experience for our students. There is a strong sense of community within the school and a real desire amongst staff to grow and develop our teaching and provision. The role is not the traditional in-class support; every day will be different. The coaching approach enables our students to receive the highest quality, personalised intervention. You will develop a positive working relationship with your allocated students, enabling you to plan the best support for their academic and social progress. This could involve adjusting activities, daily check-ins, suggesting supporting strategies for staff, 1:1 interventions or other strategies.
