Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
- Assist on incident/accident investigation.
- Responsible for daily inspection and toolbox meeting.
- Ensure that supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures and compliance.
- Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues.
- Compile all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
- Good communication skills to liaise with associates, clients, and government authorities.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
- Previous experience in LTA project an advantage.
- Either one of the following:
- Min 5 years' experience/registration as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO), or;
- Min 2 years' experience/registration as an Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO).
