Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications and details, and monitor any changes throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with the Architectural Consultant, design team, Contractor, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders on architectural and site matters.
  • Monitor and supervise architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, LTA requirements and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials and construction quality.
  • Inspect and follow up on Inspection Requests, material submissions, shop drawings, samples and mock-ups.
  • Monitor and follow up on defects, non-conforming works and rectification works.
  • Coordinate and follow up on architectural RFIs, technical queries and site issues.
  • Monitor architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, civil, railway systems and other specialist works.
  • Monitor architectural progress on site and highlight delays, coordination issues and site constraints.
  • Provide daily/weekly updates to the LTA Architectural Team on the Contractor’s work progress, completed works, ongoing activities, site observations and outstanding issues.
  • Attend site/progress meetings and provide updates on architectural works and outstanding matters.
  • Assist in monitoring testing, completion, defects and handover of architectural works.
  • Maintain proper records of inspections, submissions, site observations, defects and rectification works.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience with a recognised Diploma or higher qualification in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience on projects of similar scale and complexity, preferably MRT, rail, infrastructure or major building projects in Singapore.
  • Registered Resident Technical Officer (Architecture) with relevant experience suitable for LTA projects.
  • Good knowledge of architectural construction, materials, finishes and site coordination.
  • Familiar with LTA requirements, specifications, submissions, inspections and construction documentation.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with Consultants, Contractors and LTA project teams.
  • MRT/railway or LTA project experience will be an advantage.
  • Full-time on-site presence required from 6 months prior to BSC until CWW is obtained.
