Job Description

  • Oversee the Finance & Accounting function, which includes accounts payable, inventory management, taxation, financial reporting, and leadership to the team.
  • Able to handle full set of accounts and generate monthly management & financial reports for management review and prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements.
  • Review of construction schedule and assist in monitoring, tracking & reporting of project budget and expenditure.
  • Manage month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare GST submission quarterly.
  • Preparation of yearly estimated chargeable income (ECI) computation for the group.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents for the group.
  • Perform analysis of department's Profit & Loss statement and produce any special reports required by the management team.
  • Evaluate and ensure continual improvement in operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and internal controls.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum degree in accounting or other professional accounting qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling marine or shipping invoices.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and problem-solving.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
