We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Supervisor with a strong electrical background to oversee the delivery of landlord M&E services within a prestigious commercial building in Euston.
You will be responsible for a small team of two Building Services Engineers, taking ownership of the day-to-day engineering operation, PPM and reactive maintenance, compliance, subcontractors and client communication.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor, Lead Electrical Engineer or Contract Supervisor looking for greater responsibility and ownership of a commercial site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of landlord M&E services.
- Manage, support and develop a team of two engineers.
- Ensure electrical and mechanical PPMs are completed within required timescales.
- Provide technical support on electrical faults and building services issues.
- Coordinate reactive maintenance and remedial works.
- Oversee electrical distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and associated systems.
- Manage specialist M&E subcontractors.
- Ensure statutory compliance is maintained across the site.
- Manage Permit to Work procedures, RAMS and Health & Safety documentation.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, compliance records and site documentation.
- Monitor outstanding works through to completion.
- Liaise directly with the client and other building stakeholders.
- Attend client and operational meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised electrical qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or Contract Supervisor.
- Good knowledge of landlord M&E services.
- Strong electrical fault-finding knowledge.
- Experience supervising engineers and specialist subcontractors.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and Health & Safety.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of engineering delivery across the building.
