Weekend Bartender

Previous Winners of Best Pub in Derby and multiple time finalists

We are looking for someone to join our team behind the bar and help us regain the title of best pub. Previous experience is not essential, but we are looking for someone with heaps of enthusiasm and a passion for working in a fast-paced and fun environment at the weekends. We also run a food operation which requires taking food orders and serving food to tables around the premises.

The Job involves:

• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• interacting with customers, taking orders, and making conversation
• learning about our range of drinks from gins to real ales
• stocking and restocking fridges, glass shelves, and other bar supplies
• maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and its surroundings (cleaning tables and removing empty glasses and bottles etc)
• Complying with food and beverage regulations

Requirements:

• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• A willingness to learn how to keep the bar clean, stocked and organised.
• To be a team player and take advice from senior members of staff
• The ability to work at weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
