We're looking for a Service Manager to lead our Supported Living service in Berkshire, supporting adults with mental health and learning disability needs.
The Role
As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, quality, safety and performance of the service.
You'll lead and develop your team, ensure high standards of care and compliance, and promote independence and positive outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring safe and person-centred support.
- Manage safeguarding, risk, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Recruit, support and develop a high-performing team.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, incidents and complaints.
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners and partner agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement and support inspections and audits.
- Promote a positive culture focused on independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
About You
We're looking for a compassionate and confident leader with experience in health and social care.
You will ideally have
- Previous management experience within health or social care.
- Experience leading teams within a regulated service.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care.
- Experience supporting people with mental health, learning disabilities or complex needs.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- Experience using digital care systems.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards.
