Responsibilities
- Actively manage the Core+ business in an entrepreneurial manner.
- Work closely with Blackstone's European Acquisitions, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Finance, Institutional Client Solutions (ICS) / Private Wealth (PW), and Legal teams on all aspects of the European Core+ business.
- Responsible for building and maintaining Fund models and analytics, covering liquidity, leverage, credit metrics and return projections.
- Manage the funds' liquidity and leverage, including monitoring the acquisitions pipeline, disposals, fundraising, redemptions, portfolio capex requirements and other related funding needs.
- Work with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Asset Management and Finance teams on preparation of fund valuations, board materials and bondholder reporting.
- Track operating and financial performance across fund assets in partnership with Asset Management, Finance, and IC & PW teams.
- Actively support financings/refinancings alongside the Capital Markets team, including management of a corporate unsecured bond program.
- Manage due diligence requests and assist in preparation for investor, distributor and bondholder meetings in conjunction with the IC & PW teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience required.
- A willingness to work across multiple functional areas in a dynamic environment.
- Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Strong MS Office skills required, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A highly motivated individual able to work independently and manage numerous, conflicting priorities and requests.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and drive.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in team environments and develop/maintain internal and external relationships is critical.
- Excellent attention to detail, perseverance and stamina.
- Intellectual curiosity and good judgment.
- A desire to contribute to a positive culture.
- A high level of integrity and standard of professional conduct is essential.
Securities Licensing Requirements
Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:
- Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or client questions.
- Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients.
- Supervising or training securities licensed employees.
- Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products.
- Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.
