Program Overview

Blackstone’s Analyst Program offers learning and development opportunities to help advance employees’ careers across investing, leadership, communication, and technology. The program allows analysts to work across all business units, participate in a robust mentorship experience, and be fully immersed in Blackstone culture.

Role Focus

The Real Estate Private Equity Group provides analysts with experience on a professional team that handles acquisition of real‑estate related companies, portfolios of real‑estate assets, and individual properties worldwide. Analysts participate in all aspects of real‑estate investing and are typically assigned to multiple transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Real‑estate and public‑company valuation analysis.
  • Excel modeling.
  • Market research and data mining.
  • Performing various analyses to assist in making investment decisions.
  • Development of presentations.
  • Leading due diligence and execution of transactions.
  • Drafting memoranda for internal and external use.
  • Assisting with legal negotiations and due diligence.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to write effectively.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good judgment.
  • Perseverance and stamina.
  • Positive culture contributor.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance; experience in investment banking is desirable but not required.

Securities License Requirements

Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client‑facing role and/or if you are engaged in activities such as attending client meetings, marketing Blackstone funds, supervising or training securities‑licensed employees, structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products, and advising on marketing plans.
