Job Description:
- Originate, source and execute infrastructure investments.
- Identify, evaluate and develop investment opportunities and seek strategic co-investors.
- Lead due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of terms sheets, purchase agreements and financing terms.
- Negotiate and structure major transactions.
- Direct the execution of investment transactions; monitor the strategic, operational and financial performance of the fund’s portfolio investments.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, the negotiation of contracts and other agreements, and due diligence sessions.
- Oversee the analysis of financial data and monitoring developments in financial markets important to the business of the Blackstone Group.
- Direct research of targeted industries for investment purposes.
- Perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including the assessment of financial risks.
- Compare financial data of investments of the same industry, size and location to forecast industry trends.
- Oversee the work of Analysts, Associates, and Principals; including the design and development of quantitative models used by analysts to assess the economic performance of investment opportunities.
- Manage the preparation of written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by Blackstone Group management.
