Program Overview

Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) offers a 10‑week in‑person summer analyst program that provides extensive exposure across the firm, mentorship, feedback, technical and soft‑skill training, networking, and immersion in Blackstone’s culture.

Job Description

Summer analysts will work as quantitative strategists on the BXCI Quant & Portfolio Analytics team, collaborating with business units such as Liquid Credit, Private Credit, Infrastructure & Asset‑Based Credit, Insurance, and the Office of the CIO. Responsibilities include building analytics for risk and value calculations, originating public and private loans, managing funds, highlighting portfolio trends, evaluating and pricing deals, supporting client analytics requests, and streamlining activities across the division.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate risk and value for financial positions, including securitized products
  • Originate public and private loans
  • Manage funds and identify portfolio trends
  • Evaluate and price deals
  • Support client analytical requests
  • Streamline processes across the division

Qualifications

  • Strong modeling and mathematical skills
  • Strong programming skills in a general‑purpose language (e.g., C++, C#, Java, Python)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a lean team environment
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good professional judgment, and a positive attitude

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student
  • Anticipated graduation: Summer 2027 or 2028
