Off-cycle interns in Insurance Strategy and Solutions will participate in a wide range of European insurance-related projects, conducting asset allocation and risk modelling analysis, supporting the team with insurance client engagements and preparing impactful insurance strategy presentations and research papers. Off-cycle interns will work closely across the team and the broader Blackstone Insurance Asset Allocation and investment teams globally.
Responsibilities
- Research and prepare analyses and content on insurance market trends, peer analysis and regulatory updates
- Participate in client projects, and assist the team on client analysis and responding to client requests
- Contribute to and maintain the financial models and frameworks for portfolio optimisation and insurance asset allocation
- Collaborate with internal teams including investments, products and relationship managers
- Develop a strong understanding of asset classes offered through the Blackstone Credit & Insurance platform

- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) preferred
- Proficiency in a European language (Italian or German) is advantageous but not required
