Blackstone’s Real Estate Asset Management Group (AM) leads all post-acquisition investment activities. AM’s investment professionals oversee the full lifecycle of an investment, including setting business plans, identifying value-creation opportunities and executing transactions to monetize an investment. Analyst work may include modelling and presentations to support core AM activities:
- Building portfolio companies to manage operational real estate
- Collaborating with portfolio company senior management to set business plans and drive performance
- Conducting market research and analysing value-creation initiatives (e.g. capital expenditure projects)
- Executing transactions such as refinancings, recapitalizations and dispositions (including public IPOs and private market sales)
