The Blackheath Clinic is a CQC-registered private medical clinic located in the heart of Blackheath, South East London. We provide a growing private ultrasound service alongside GP, women's health and diagnostic services within a modern, doctor-led clinical environment.
We are seeking experienced sonographers to join our team on a flexible self-employed basis to support our expanding baby scanning service. This role is ideal for sonographers seeking regular part-time sessions within a professional private practice setting, with flexibility around existing NHS or private commitments. Saturday morning and afternoon sessions are available.
The Role
- You will be responsible for providing private pregnancy ultrasound examinations in a calm, reassuring and patient-focused environment.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PgCert, PgDip or equivalent)
- Experience performing obstetric ultrasound examinations independently
- Ability to produce accurate ultrasound reports
- Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or equivalent professional body
- Experience within private practice
- Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) accreditation
- Experience using GE ultrasound systems
- Flexible self-employed working arrangements
