We are a warm and friendly Infant School where children are at the heart of everything we do. As our caretaker, you will play an important role in maintaining and developing our school site so that our school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

The Governors of Black Horse Hill Infant School are seeking to appoint a committed and hardworking individual to take on the role of Caretaker. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently, a good level of physical fitness, and the capability to carry out basic maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and cleaning duties. A strong sense of responsibility is essential. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

This is a permanent position and we are looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible. The hours will be 7am–11am each day. The contracted hours are 20 hrs per week but additional hours may be required for emergency key holding duties.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
