The Business & Economics Department has a strong track record of examination success at GCSE and A-Level. The Department’s highly capable and experienced teachers play a central role in the development of learning within the school. The curriculum is both challenging and engaging, looking to develop students’ understanding of fundamental concepts and principles in business and entrepreneurship. The Department is well resourced and is constantly looking to develop and update those resources.
The Bishop’s Stortford High School is a popular, oversubscribed 6FE school of 1,288 students, providing a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 with a thriving mixed sixth form of close to 400 students, including 133 female students. As a result of excellent teaching, our students consistently achieve fantastic academic outcomes at both GCSE and A-Level.
