The Bishop Wand Church of England School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our thriving English Faculty from 1st September 2026 to 28th February 2027, to cover a period of maternity leave. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your journey or an experienced educator ready for a new challenge, we welcome your application.
Our English department plays a central role in our School’s ongoing success, offering a wide range of opportunities for students across Key Stages 3 to 5. At Sixth Form, we deliver A Levels in English Language & Literature, English Literature, and Media Studies, with many students progressing to higher education and careers driven by a passion for English.
