Attendance Co-ordinator

This is a Term time only plus two weeks (41 weeks) contract, working 37 Hours per week, You must have good administration skills and have experience of working within an education environment or a strong interest in working with young people. You will want to "make a difference", and you will be resilient and hard working with high expectations. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving our student attendance record, so you must be capable of building positive relationships with students and their families. As an Attendance Co-ordinator you will be welcomed into an exceptional team of professionals to:

• Monitor daily attendance and punctuality, ensuring accurate recording in line with statutory requirements
• Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents and carers to promote good attendance.
• Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, safeguarding colleagues, SEND, Family Engagement and other Academy staff to improve attendance outcomes.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Academy's attendance strategy.
• Complete attendance administration efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all registers are completed as expected, so every student can be accounted for every lesson.
