Job Description

  • Lead a team of Sales Consultants to provide knowledgeable advice and exceptional customer service, driving proactive sales to meet financial targets.
  • Oversee client outreach campaigns aimed at building and nurturing client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Develop sales opportunities and public programming to engage existing clients and attract new audiences.
  • Work closely with the GM and colleagues (Curators, Marketing) in regular sales, planning, and update meetings.
  • Ensure all sales-related processes are efficient, detailed, and meet the highest standards.
  • Manage front-of-house operational requirements, including reception, gallery presentation, and ambience.
  • Perform daily sales meetings, monitor lead generation to completion, and process efficient sales and after-care, including approvals, framing, shipping, and client record keeping.
  • Evaluate client outreach campaigns against strict deadlines and use results for continual improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide positive and successful leadership to the sales team.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets through excellent customer service and best business practices.
  • Host daily sales meetings and monitor lead generation to completion.
  • Efficient sales processing and aftercare, including home approvals, own art, framing, shipping, client record keeping, and oversight of emails/telephone handling.
  • Manage client outreach campaigns and evaluate results for future improvement.
  • Develop public programming to encourage visitor engagement and client re-engagement.
  • Maintain a high standard of reception and gallery presentation and ambience (non-curatorial).
  • Work to develop efficiencies and better outcomes across all remit areas.
