An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Assistant to join the Private Dining Team at The Birley Clubs based in Berkeley Square House. The Birley Clubs operate some of the world’s most iconic private members’ clubs, Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, George, Harry’s Bar and Bath & Racquets Club. As Events Assistant you will work closely with the Head of Private Events and Private Dining Team as well as the operational teams in the Clubs. You will support in delivering private dining across our Clubs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Private Events and Private Dining Event Managers working within budgets and tracking costs effectively
  • Planning and organising of private dining bookings as confirmed
  • Effective communication with the teams in the Clubs when setting up private dining events, ensuring all operational aspects are in place
  • Assisting the team with daily administrative duties and taking enquiries
  • Effectively processing invoices and ensuring correct allocation ready for sign off
  • Attending private dining meetings in the Club to ensure all runs smoothly and effective communication with event provider, operations team and members

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

  • Are strong communicators both verbally and in writing, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all times with Members, clients and suppliers
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and efficiently manage the workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Have strong administration skills and are excellent team players
  • Are passionate about delivering high quality and unique events
  • Have strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and related PC packages
  • Experience with Salesforce desirable
