We are looking for an experienced and charismatic Junior Cigar Sommelier to join our stunning private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square, part of The Birley Clubs. Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and is home to five restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon. A team of world‑class Chefs, Sommeliers and Mixologists have designed an outstanding array of menus, cocktail and wine lists. Expertly sourced, seasonal ingredients, wines and spirits are brought together using traditional and subversive techniques to create truly unique dining and drinking experiences.

As Junior Cigar Sommelier you will report to the Head of Cigars and work closely with the Cigar Sommeliers, Spirit Sommelier and Wine Sommeliers delivering the highest levels of cigar service to our Members. You will be responsible for suggesting and serving cigars, recommending matches to spirits, wines and drinks. In addition you will replenish stock as required and participate in stock takes.

We Are Ideally Looking For Candidates Who Have:

  • Previous experience in a high quality, destination hotel or private members club
  • A keen interest in cigars and the wish to develop your knowledge and progress
  • A cigar qualification or experience would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
  • A keen interest in hospitality and be enthusiastic and positive
