Set in a charming Georgian house, our elegant hotel is centrally located in the heart of Bath, just a short 10-minute walk from Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Guests can enjoy chic, well-appointed rooms with modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities, with some rooms offering scenic city views. The hotel serves an optional full English or continental breakfast in a bright dining room and features a cozy bar with TVs and a terrace for outdoor seating. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee daily operations at our vibrant bar and dining facilities. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bath.
Responsibilities include:- Managing staff and ensuring excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality
- Creating schedules and designing menus in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Inventory management and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Financial oversight to ensure profitability
- Working closely with the broader hotel team to deliver an exceptional experience for all guests
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members
- Expertise in customer service and ability to create an engaging guest experience
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the hospitality industry
