BioGrad Education is seeking a confident, enthusiastic and proactive Sales Executive to support learner recruitment, enrolment and course delivery.
The primary focus of this role will be proactive learner recruitment, course promotion and enquiry conversion. You will make outbound calls, build rapport with prospective learners and support them in progressing from initial enquiry through to application and enrolment.
You will need previous experience in sales, recruitment or a target-focused customer environment and should be comfortable speaking with new people, promoting programmes, following up leads and working towards agreed recruitment and enrolment objectives.
The role will also involve responding to learner enquiries, supporting enrolment and onboarding, and completing associated learner administration to help provide a positive experience throughout the learner journey. This may include supporting the onboarding of apprentices where required.
You will also represent BioGrad Education at open days, careers events, information sessions and outreach activities, engaging confidently and professionally with learners and other stakeholders.
An interest, qualification or previous experience in science or a science-related environment would be advantageous due to the nature of the laboratory and clinical training programmes being promoted.
During busy periods, you may also be required to support operational and delivery teams across different UK sites, including travel and occasional overnight stays where required.

Role-specific responsibilities
1. Education Sales and Learner Recruitment
- Make confident and engaging outbound calls to prospective and existing learners to follow up enquiries, promote relevant programmes and support applications and enrolments.
- Build rapport with prospective learners, understand their interests and training needs and confidently explain suitable programmes.
- Manage a pipeline of prospective learners and maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-up activity, applications and enrolments.
- Follow up prospective learners consistently and support them from initial enquiry through to application and enrolment.
- Respond confidently to questions and concerns and provide clear and accurate course information.
- Work towards agreed learner recruitment, application and enrolment objectives.
- Monitor recruitment activity and provide regular updates on enquiries, applications, conversions and enrolments.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective and current learners and follow up outstanding actions where required.
2. Learner Enquiries, Enrolment and Onboarding
- Respond to enquiries from prospective and current learners, parents and other stakeholders by telephone and email.
- Provide clear information about courses, programmes, application processes and learner support.
- Provide learners with a friendly and professional first point of contact.
- Support learner recruitment and enrolment activities.
- Assist with onboarding learners onto laboratory and clinical training programmes, including Skills Bootcamps.
- Support the onboarding of apprentices where required, including collecting relevant learner information and documentation.
- Ensure learners receive joining information, programme details and other relevant communications before starting.
- Support learner inductions and onboarding activities where required.
- Follow up learners who have not completed required forms, documentation or onboarding activities.
3.Administration and Learner Records
- Complete administrative tasks relating to learner recruitment, enrolment, onboarding and course delivery.
- Prepare and maintain registers, enrolment paperwork and other learner documentation.
- Maintain accurate learner records and update relevant systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist with attendance monitoring and follow up learners who have not attended or are late.
- Support relevant Skills Bootcamp administration and spreadsheets.
- Assist with certificates, references and other learner documentation.
- Ensure records and documentation are accurate and completed within required timescales.
4. Learner Engagement and Outreach
- Attend open days, careers events, information sessions and face-to-face outreach activities.
- Engage confidently with prospective learners and encourage interest in BioGrad Education courses and training programmes.
- Help prepare materials and information for learner engagement activities.
- Represent BioGrad Education in a confident, enthusiastic and professional manner.
- Respond to course-related enquiries from external contacts and refer partnership or business development opportunities to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain accurate records of learner engagement and event activity
5. Operational Course Delivery Support
- Support lecturers and operational teams across different UK delivery sites during busy periods.
- Assist with learner inductions and general learner support.
- Help prepare learner areas, resources and documentation.
- Provide administrative support during programme delivery and events.
- Travel to different delivery locations where required, including occasional overnight stays.
Person Specification
Qualifications, Training & Knowledge
- GCSE Mathematics and English Language or equivalent.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Relevant experience or a qualification in administration, customer service, marketing, education and training or a related area would be advantageous.
- A science or science-related qualification, or relevant experience within a scientific, laboratory, clinical or healthcare environment, would be advantageous.

Experience
- Previous experience in sales, recruitment or a target-focused customer engagement role.

Circumstances
- 35 hours per week.
- Hybrid role, primarily based in Chester, with work required across both Chester and Liverpool.
- Willingness and ability to travel to outreach and other UK delivery locations.
- Occasional overnight stays may be required.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential due to regular travel requirements.
- The role requires compliance with BioGrad Education safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures.

Contract
35 hours per week
£25,000 per annum
There is also an opportunity to earn 5% commission on revenue generated, payable following successful completion of the probationary period. Full details will be discussed separately.
