The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

The researcher would work in the Nature Services practice developing strategies for nature and implementing solutions in close collaboration with our global corporate clients and financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of projects for leading companies across a range of sectors (e.g. companies with agricultural/mineral-based supply chains, pharmaceuticals, financial institutions).
  • Work with the team to pioneer new approaches to nature sustainability – helping companies set science-based targets for nature, footprint and risk-screen their value chains, and helping prepare reporting that aligns with TNFD, CSRD and other emerging frameworks.
  • Synthesising key outputs from various information sources in a clear and concise way.
  • Support on proposals to new and existing clients.
  • Expand our global business network in sustainability, engaging with new and existing clients and partners.

  • Knowledge of global environmental frameworks
  • Someone who is proactive and curious
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys learning new skills and approaches
  • Superb communicator with specialists and non-specialists alike
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Organised with tasks, and reliably producing what\’s asked of them in the timeframe indicated
  • Attention to detail, and care taken with work produced
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility of individual tasks assigned to them
  • Comfortable working with complex datasets
  • Passionate about creating positive environmental change
  • Degree in relevant discipline (e.g. ecology, geography) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work with remote/ international teams
  • Able to regularly commute (i.e. 2 days/ week) to either London or Cambridge
  • 1-2 years’ experience of working in consultancy, a corporate sustainability function, or other nature conservation roles
  • Experience in presenting complex concepts in a concise way to a business audience
  • Experience of sustainability within supply chains
  • Experience with the main sectors we work in: finance, those with agricultural-based supply chains or mineral-based supply chains
  • Expertise in nature frameworks and applicable regulations
  • Experience with data visualisation
