The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

The Binn Group is one of Scotland's leading recycling, renewable energy, and waste management companies. Due to ongoing business success and growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity within the Operations Department. Please note that experience is preferable; however, the Binn Group will provide training in all required areas.

Hours: 0600 – 1800 (One weekend in three)

  • Assist the management team in daily yard organization, including processing materials, handling scrap metal, and operating machinery (Forklift/Telehander/360 Grab).
  • Liaise with customers (internal and external) regarding waste disposal and assist them with identifying disposal points within the yard.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the day.
  • Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a functioning waste yard.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in handling and grading scrap metals.
  • Experience operating Forklift/Telehander/360 Grab to NPORS standards or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation and commercial awareness.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
