The Binn Group is one of Scotland's leading recycling, renewable energy, and waste management companies. Due to ongoing business success and growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity within the Operations Department. Please note that experience is preferable; however, the Binn Group will provide training in all required areas.
Hours: 0600 – 1800 (One weekend in three)
- Assist the management team in daily yard organization, including processing materials, handling scrap metal, and operating machinery (Forklift/Telehander/360 Grab).
- Liaise with customers (internal and external) regarding waste disposal and assist them with identifying disposal points within the yard.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the day.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a functioning waste yard.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in handling and grading scrap metals.
- Experience operating Forklift/Telehander/360 Grab to NPORS standards or equivalent.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation and commercial awareness.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
