Are you an ambitious finance professional with a passion for accuracy, insightful reporting, and partnering with the business? We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our collaborative and fast-paced finance team at The Big Table Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, develop across multiple areas of month-end, and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across one of the UK’s largest and most diverse hospitality groups.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own key areas of month-end reporting (e.g. Sales, COS, Labour, Costs, Capex, Overheads).
- Produce accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting & forecasting for your area.
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Deliver clear analysis and insight.
- Support year-end and external audit.
- Improve processes, reporting accuracy and controls.
What you’ll bring:
- Part-qualified or fully-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.
- Experience in month-end and year-end reporting.
- Excellent data interpretation skills, with the confidence to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Experience in multi-site businesses (desirable).
- Budgeting and/or business partnering experience (preferred).
- Strong systems knowledge – CODA or similar.
- A proactive approach, with a desire to improve processes and deliver high-quality work.
