We're looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our high-performing Group Finance team. Are you a commercially minded finance leader who thrives on partnering with senior stakeholders, driving performance, and influencing decision-making? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping brand and site performance across one of the UK's largest hospitality groups. You’ll act as a true commercial partner to the business bringing insight, challenge and clarity to help maximise revenue, optimise costs and support sustainable growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead commercial finance support across brands, sites and group function
- Partner closely with Brand MDs, Marketing Directors and Operations Directors
- Own sales, margin and labour forecasting across annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Provide insight and challenge on pricing, menu performance, labour optimisation and marketing spend
- Support strategic planning and periodic business reviews, driving actions and outcomes
- Lead commercial input into capital investment decisions and major projects
- Act as a commercial conscience, assessing opportunities, risks and returns
- Support the CFO and senior leadership with performance reporting and stakeholder communication
- Manage, coach and develop Commercial Finance Business Partners
- Champion continuous improvement, best practice and a 'restaurants-first' mindset
What you’ll bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE
- Strong experience in multi-site or hospitality, retail or consumer-led businesses
- Proven background in commercial finance, business partnering and forecasting
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable working at pace in a fast-moving environment
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking
