The Big Table Group is home to over 200 restaurants across iconic brands including Las Iguanas, Bella Italia, Amalfi, Frankie & Benny's, Banana Tree and more. We’re on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join our collaborative, fast-paced finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a critical area of the P & L, working across a diverse portfolio while adding real value through insight, control, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing
- Cost of Sales & Margin Ownership
- Own the end-to-end month-end close for Cost of Sales, including accruals, prepayments, stock and margin reporting.
- Manage stock processes: site stock closures, write-offs, transfers, and liaison with Procurement.
- Post and review key COS-related accruals and income streams, including rebates, central kitchen, franchise income, banking recharges and gift card commission.
- Reporting & Insight
- Prepare and maintain the period Margin Pack.
- Support the first P & L review and distribute P & Ls and transaction listings to sites.
- Deliver clear, meaningful analysis to support decision-making.
- Control & Business Partnering
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Cost of Sales.
- Partner with operational and non-finance stakeholders across the business.
- Audit & Continuous Improvement
- Support the year-end audit, providing accurate and timely deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent business acumen.
- Proven experience in month-end and year-end reporting, ideally within Cost of Sales or margin-focused roles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) and confidence working with large data sets.
- Ability to interpret and present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in a multi-site environment, ideally hospitality.
- Strong systems knowledge (CODA or similar preferred).
- High attention to detail, organised and deadline-driven.
