The Role
As General Manager of The Big Manchester Bake, you will take full ownership of site performance, team leadership and guest experience. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll set the tone on the floor while ensuring the venue runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. You’ll balance operational excellence with atmosphere, creating a space where teams thrive and guests leave smiling. The site includes a stunning on‑site café/bar and hosts private bookings, corporate events, brand activations and our famous 90‑minute baking sessions.
You will:
- Lead and develop a high‑performing hospitality and baking team
- Drive exceptional, high‑energy guest experiences
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations and maintain outstanding standards
- Manage stock, suppliers and overall site performance
- Work closely with central Operations, Sales and Marketing teams
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue and elevate the experience
