We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Facilities Project Manager (12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract) to lead the delivery and governance of a diverse portfolio of facilities and real estate projects across the Village. This is a high‑impact role within a live retail environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and external authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while supporting our sustainability and ESG ambitions.
As Facilities Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a wide range of facilities and real estate projects across the Village. From early feasibility through to completion, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget, while maintaining strong governance, quality control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver end‑to‑end facilities and real estate projects across brand, customer, staff‑facing and maintenance environments (RIBA Stages 0–7).
- Provide strong onsite leadership to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery aligned to the agreed brief, scope and programme.
- Manage project budgets, programmes and change control, maintaining robust cost and risk management throughout.
- Lead and coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers, building effective working relationships within a live retail environment.
- Oversee planning, statutory approvals and compliance requirements impacting the asset.
- Ensure full compliance with Value Retail standards, building regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Support ESG, sustainability and energy‑reduction initiatives across the project portfolio.
- Produce clear project reporting and documentation for senior stakeholders.
Role requirements:
- Degree‑qualified or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, surveying or project management.
- Proven experience delivering multiple construction or facilities projects concurrently, ideally within live or complex environments.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, statutory approvals and health & safety legislation, including CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act.
- Demonstrable experience managing budgets, CapEx and cost control across the full project lifecycle.
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to lead consultants and contractors effectively.
- Practical, solutions‑focused approach with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience supporting sustainability and ESG‑related project outcomes.
