The Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa is a vibrant and dynamic family business situated on the A45 as you leave Coventry towards Birmingham. We have an exciting opportunity for a Leisure Club Assistant to join our hotel; you should be able to deliver amazing hospitality and thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest expectations. You should have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long‑term relationships with members and guests. Key responsibilities for the Leisure Club Assistant are:

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs at all times, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Ensure that the reception desk is efficiently run and that guest care & satisfaction is a focus throughout the shift.
  • Be responsible for the supervision & safety of guests and members in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain and manage the golf diary ensuring all bookings are inputted directly upon receipt and updated when necessary.
  • Take enquiries and bookings in an efficient manner and encourage maximum sales revenue for the overall profitability of the club.
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness of the club at all times in accordance with Golf Club procedures.
  • Schedule tee times for golfers and spa treatments for clients as requested.
  • Take orders, dispense drinks and serve at tables where necessary.
  • Promote and sell golf and leisure shop merchandise to guests and members.
  • Sell and process club memberships along with promoting the clubs services.
  • Promote facilities with a focus on memberships and achieving forecasted targets.
  • Observe activities throughout the facilities and maintain poolside cover as appropriate during shift.
