Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa is a vibrant and dynamic family business situated on the A45 as you leave Coventry towards Birmingham. The business enterprise includes The National Motorcycle Museum & National Conference Centre and The Manor Hotel - Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill.

You must be passionate about food innovation, high quality ingredients, and demonstrate outstanding attention to detail. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below.
Main duties and responsibilities:- Have an operational knowledge of recipes /standards / portion sizes / yields / presentation style of dishes produced within your designated section.
- Provide a consistently high level of service and product delivery.
- Participate in the production, preparation and presentation of meals.
- Work under supervision on all sections of the kitchen as required.
- Work with high quality fresh produce and organic ingredients as menus dictate.
- Receive details of the menu requirements and the quantities / portions required from the Head Chef.
- Liaise with the Sous Chef or Head Chef with any production queries.
- Ensure that sufficient supplies are available, in order to meet the expected business demands of the shift / session.
- Ensure that all items produced are according to standard recipes, portion yields and within agreed time limits and minimum wastage.
- Conduct any special daily or periodic duties (e.g. refrigerator temperature readings).
- Work at an efficient pace to ensure service levels are maintained at all times.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and surrounding food preparation areas, including equipment, work surfaces, according to cleaning schedules.
