Temporary Warehouse Operative - NR9
£12.71 per hour | 38.75 hours per week | Potential for longer-term work
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hands‑on Warehouse Operative to join our small, friendly team at a third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouse in the NR9 area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude and is happy to get stuck in with a variety of warehouse tasks.
What you'll be doing
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
- Receiving, sorting and organising stock.
- Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
- Helping with general warehouse and logistics duties.
- Keeping the workspace clean, tidy and organised.
What we're looking for
- A chatty, approachable person who enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.
- Someone who is well‑presented, reliable and punctual.
- A positive, practical attitude and good attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift and handle items weighing 10-15 kg safely.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Own transport is essential due to the warehouse location.
The details
- Location: NR9 area.
- Pay: £12.71 per hour.
- Hours: 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding breaks.
- Working hours: 38.75 hours per week.
- Free parking available on site.
- Duration: 2-3 weeks initially, with the possibility of a longer‑term position.
- Start: As soon as possible.
