The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Welder/ Fabricator for our Wolverhampton based client.
- Pay rate is £15.00 per hour
- Working hours are 07:15 till 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:15-13:15 on Friday
This is long term, temp to perm position.
As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will include
- Fabricate and MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel products.
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Mark out, cut, prepare, assemble and weld components.
- Manufacture bespoke fabrications for a range of industrial applications.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
- Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
- Strong MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience fabricating mild steel and stainless steel.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Welding mask and basic fabrication hand tools required.
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- The successful candidate will be confident working with materials ranging from
1mm to 20mm+ thickness and be capable of producing high-quality work to customer specifications.
