Responsibilities
- Upholster bed frames, headboards and panels using a variety of materials.
- Measure, cut and secure fabrics accurately to achieve a professional finish.
- Apply foam, padding and other upholstery components.
- Create neat, consistent finishes with a strong eye for detail and quality.
- Check completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Maintain a high level of workmanship across all products.
- Identify and correct any imperfections before products leave the workshop.
- Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- Support other workshop activities when required.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
Requirements
- Previous upholstery experience within furniture manufacturing, bedding, sofas or similar products.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Confident working with different fabrics, materials and upholstery techniques.
- Good knowledge of upholstery tools and equipment.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team environment.
