The Best Connection Wolverhampton is currently recruiting for a Steel Operative to join our client in Wolverhampton.
Working hours are: Monday to Thursday 07:00-14:00
Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour
Duties:
- Operate an overhead crane to load, unload, and position steel beams.
- Secure loads using approved rigging techniques to prevent shifting or damage during lifting operations.
- Assist in the operation of other machinery as required.
- Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
- Operate a band saw safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a steel manufacturing, fabrication, or warehouse environment.
- Overhead crane operating experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
